The foundation helps our veterans, homeless and their families in our local communities. Delta Hawk Foundation helps with assistance and counseling in medical care, non-emergency medical transport, Shelter, permanent housing, job training and child care so they can look for a job or go on an interview. Today, the mission of the foundation is to develop systemic approaches to combat poverty and homelessness among families with children, and to enhance family economic security and well-being. Delta Hawk Foundation provides the support that Veterans and homeless individuals and families needing successfully transition from living on the street to thriving in homes of their own. Delta Hawk Foundation are critical to ensuring that the people we serve are able to not only move into permanent homes, but stay in permanent homes long-term. The services we provide are available to anyone who is homeless or at risk of becoming homeless.
Delta Hawk Foundation assist local communities and partners in helping out the community for example, trash/cleaning designated areas that need assistance by community, food deliveries, Non-emergency medical transport to medical appointments in Shasta, Siskiyou and Tehama counties in California. Seniors and Veterans living in assistant living facilities like the veteran’s home are on fixed income or no income at all, can’t drive to the doctor’s appointment, get groceries & prescriptions or just get out to say hi to a family member.
