Non-Profit Events Coordinator

Job plans events, organizes, and executes events for a nonprofit organization. They may also be called event planners or events specialists. 

Responsibilities

  • Planning: Set goals, select a venue, and create a budget
  • Logistics: Manage event timelines, registrations, and setup
  • Vendor relations: Research and contract vendors for entertainment, services, and other needs
  • Marketing: Collaborate with the marketing team to promote the event
  • On-site management: Ensure the event runs smoothly, including validating tickets and managing attendance
  • Follow-up: Thank attendees for their participation and share event results
  • Feedback: Gather feedback from attendees and use it to improve future events

 

Skills and experience Event planning experience, Project management experience, Hospitality experience, Knowledge of event marketing strategies, and Familiarity with event management tools and platforms. 

Starting annual income $41,600
