The foundation helps our veterans, homeless and their families in our local communities. Delta Hawk Foundation helps with assistance and counseling in medical care, non-emergency medical transport, Shelter, permanent housing, job training and child care so they can look for a job or go on an interview. Today, the mission of the foundation is to develop systemic approaches to combat poverty and homelessness among families with children, and to enhance family economic security and well-being. Delta Hawk Foundation provides the support that Veterans and homeless individuals and families needing successfully transition from living on the street to thriving in homes of their own. Delta Hawk Foundation are critical to ensuring that the people we serve are able to not only move into permanent homes, but stay in permanent homes long-term. The services we provide are available to anyone who is homeless or at risk of becoming homeless.
The Delta Hawk Foundation assists communities and works with local partners to identify and address needs within the areas we serve. Our community service efforts are designed to strengthen neighborhoods, support individuals in need, and improve the quality of life for veterans, seniors, families, and individuals experiencing hardship.
Community services may include community cleanup projects, trash removal and beautification of designated areas, food and essential-supply deliveries, and non-emergency medical transportation to medical appointments and other essential destinations.
We also recognize that many seniors and veterans living in assisted-living facilities, veterans homes, or independently within the community may live on limited or fixed incomes and may not have reliable transportation. Delta Hawk Foundation works to help connect and transport individuals to medical appointments, pharmacies, grocery stores, essential services, and other important destinations—including opportunities to visit family members and remain connected to their communities.
As the Delta Hawk Foundation expands into additional local areas throughout the United States, our goal is to work alongside community organizations, volunteers, businesses, healthcare partners, and supporters to identify local needs and provide compassionate, practical assistance.
